ThrottleStop Does Not Open

Extract the complete archive to a permanent folder, review Windows Security history and confirm the executable is not being launched from inside the ZIP. Do not disable protection globally.

FIVR Is Locked

BIOS, microcode or a manufacturer security policy can disable voltage control. Reinstalling the program usually does not change a firmware restriction.

Settings Do Not Save

Check folder permissions and the configuration file. Windows power policy, vendor software or firmware may rewrite power and EPP settings after sleep or reboot.

Stop automatic startup, return voltage offsets toward zero and restore conservative power limits. Repeated instability means the profile is not suitable for daily use.

Review temperature and Limits, adapter and battery state, Windows power mode and BD PROCHOT. Do not disable a protection signal before finding the source.
